Q&A with Andres M. Melo, RPA-C, MS

  1. 1. Who is a potential candidate for Dermal Fillers?
If you are seeking a non-surgical way to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and aging signs, or if you’d like to see more volume in your lips you may be an excellent candidate for soft tissue fillers. If the toll aging frustrates you and sun exposure has taken on your facial features, it’s time to be proactive and make a change.
  1. 2. What can you do about the dark circles under my eyes?

By injecting fillers under the eye you can lessen the look of the dark/puffy tired looking eyes, giving you a more refreshed and younger appearance.

  1. How do I even out my lips without surgery?

Hyaluronic acid fillers have been used for several years to enhance lip borders. By giving more volume to the thinner lip this evens out lips and makes the more appealing. It is a simple and quick procedure that leaves you looking sexy!

  1. How will I look and feel after treatment?
Patients may experience temporary swelling or redness at the sites of injection. However, these will fade quickly and can be covered with makeup. Results can be seen immediately, although some patients may require follow-up visits to ensure long-lasting results.
  1. Are Facial Fillers painful? Each patient has a different pain tolerance; however, some fillers are now made with Lidocaine. This gives the patient even more anesthesia for a more comfort treatment.
  1. How long will results last?
The length of time results last is highly dependent on individual conditions. However, results are generally long lasting for most procedures. Soft tissue filler treatment is a popular and effective way for hundreds of thousands of Americans to restore their appearance and take back signs of aging. Speak with your plastic surgeon about these innovative treatments today.
  2. How can I bring back the youthful appearance to my cheeks?

By injecting hyaluronic acids to decrease the appearance of the marionette lines that forms as we age we can restore a youthful look to the face and smile. An added bonus is that it also promotes collagen build up giving you a fresh younger appearance.
